CornerStone is growing and expanding with high demand and we are looking for teachers who are Godly, have experience, education and an attitude for excellence.  We currently need qualified teachers in early childhood education and support staff members.

Preschool Job Description:
Pay rate depends upon experience and educational background.

We are supporters of T.E.A.C.H. Nevada Scholarship recipients.

Prekindergarten teachers must be able to teach handwriting, math and phonics.  Kindergarten curriculum is used in PreK.

Preschool Instructor Requirements:
AA/AAS/BA degree in ECE.  Minimum requirement CDA or at least 24 college credits with a willingness to continue education in ECE.

Candidates must also be a committed member of a local Christian church.

Must have or obtain Nevada Registry membership, Sheriff’s Card, TB test, CPR/First Aid, and 3 hours each of Nevada Registry approved child development courses such as Obesity, Signs & Symptoms of Illness and Recognizing and Reporting Abuse and Neglect to meet Nevada State Childcare Licensing Standards.

Elementary & Middle School Job Openings:
The ideal teaching candidates will possess a degree in their field, teacher certification, significant teaching experience, and understand how to work in a technology supported community.  Candidates must also be a committed member of a local Christian church.

Instructor Requirements:
BA or MA degree of Arts or Science with a current Nevada State Teaching License.  Teachers will need to complete a Recognizing and Reporting Abuse and Neglect course offered through Nevada Registry.

Substitutes:
Candidates for this position should have a desire to teach students ranging from grades Kindergarten thru 8th in a variety of subjects which could include Spanish, Music, PE, Computers, Art and Library. Being flexible and ready to work at a moment’s notice is a must. Qualified applicants must have the ability to: review and execute lesson plans left by teacher, engage students in lessons and maintain classroom management.

Candidates must also be a committed member of a local Christian church.

Substitute Requirements:
Hold a current Nevada Substitute License.
